We are happy to invite you to the Conference "New Media: The Innovation Factory" on Friday, December 6,2013 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at AltCity in Hamra. 

  

This event led by Canal France International (CFI), in partnership with the SKeyes Center for Media and Cultural Freedom and AltCity, will focus on the sustainability of new media startups in the Levant region (Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, Iraq). The program includes great discussions and presentations on new media trends, status of Arabic content, and innovative new media business models. 

  

This event will also serve as the official launch for applications for the coming "4M Mashreq" new media startup support program, running from April to November 2014, that will bring new media startups together from around the region for intensive training and development sessions, led by CFI and various experts, in collaboration with AltCity and SKeyes. The purpose of this project is to spot new players in the online information sector, and help them develop their project on editorial, technical and financial grounds. The application period for the startup program will launch on December 6 and last until February 2014.
